Chateau Winery - Accommodation in the Palace Art Hotel
The age-old story of wine from the Pezinok Castle began a new chapter with the label Šimák Zámok Pezinok. The Šimákov family together with the winemaker Roman Janoušek decided to make wine the way it should be. From grapes from our own vineyards, from varieties that belong to Slovakia and in our own cellars. The sensitive reconstruction of the original water castle from the 13th century and the medieval underground cellars will amaze you. The oldest barrel is from 1807, where St. Leopold is depicted. On other barrels there are coats of arms of the owners and portraits of the holy apostles. The vast cellars now house the Museum of Winery, where you can find items and tools that our ancestors used to work in the vineyard. Large and small old presses for the initial processing of grapes, ingenious filters for cleaning ciders, or ancient wine fillers. Taste wines with an elegant color and captivating aroma. With a taste dominated by character.
You can stay directly at the castle in the Palace Art hotel, which offers a classy atmosphere and exclusive services in 48 rooms and suites. You will be charmed by the entrance to the reception and to the gastronomic sanctuary Palffy restaurant. Comfort and silence are guaranteed in each of the rooms, which have a capacity of 120 beds. Choose a room with a view of the medieval courtyard and the atypical half-tower of the knight Ján Krušič, or the calm surface of the pond in Zámocky Park.

Bažalík wine - Accommodation in DUBoDOM
For Michal Bažalík, winemaking is a combination of craft, culture, tradition and love for the land, which he probably inherited from his ancestors. He took over the old, deserted vineyards above the wine-growing town of Svätý Jur a few years ago from the cooperative, and works them together with his family and friends. He approaches the cultivation of grapes with humility, without chemicals and with care for himself and the environment. He makes wine in the cellars of an old Renaissance house, bakes bread in the yard and raises rams and sheep.
Michal Bažalík's small winery includes accommodation in a treehouse in the unique DUBoDOM. A massive old oak tree oversees the surrounding vineyards, and you can enjoy the wonderful view with a glass of wine in your hand on the terrace belonging to the house, enjoy the silence and peace of the forest, the proximity of the Little Carpathian nature.
