Discover a unique three-day fair atmosphere full of tasting experiences, music, children's merry-go-rounds and dancing in the beautiful streets. The Modran wine harvest is considered the event of the year, so don't miss it. It doesn't take place until September, but we're bringing you a small taste now in the form of a short video.

A day in the vineyards

Go for a wine-growing experience directly in the Malokarpatské vineyards, which you can visit by car, by bike or you can simply take a refreshing walk. Taste wine from individual varieties or try the grapes themselves, which ripen during this period of skinning. In addition to the taste buds, your eyes will also find pleasure here thanks to the beautiful views. The most beautiful places are, for example, Hon Šinveg and the Frankovka Modra Genofond in Rač, Hofweigarten behind the city walls in Svät Jura, Hasensprung in Limbach, Kamenica na Stara hora in Pezinek, under the calvary in Modra or the lane of Šenković winemakers in the Kozare vineyard. Day of open cellars

The Little Carpathian Wine Route is one of the popular events. During two days, you can taste young wines with their typical freshness, but also older vintages, and with a bit of luck, it is possible that some winemakers will open gems from their personal archives for you. Small Carpathian winegrowers will treat you in their 174 wine cellars in 27 towns and villages of the Small Carpathian region. Open Cellar Day is about wine, but you can enjoy beautiful vineyards, taste local gastronomy, during which our musicians will play folk music, country, jazz or simply play according to your taste, on request.
