A place that will charge you with its energy. Nestled in the forested nature of the Little Carpathians in the Piesok – Zochová chata cottage area above the historic town of Modra in western Slovakia.
Sometimes a moment is enough for life to take a new direction. This is exactly how one could describe the moment when ours intertwined with the White Cottage. We are people who love nature, we travel to the mountains and the ocean. We teach our children to appreciate every moment they experience, to feel every place they visit. We collect memories and create our own world from them.
We think that the White Cottage chose us by itself. By complete chance, silently waiting for its new opportunity. This beautiful cottage has been standing in its place since 1977 and its original owner was the poet Pavol Koyš.
We humbly took over the "scepter" in 2021 and breathed new life into the White Cottage. The effort was to create a place that combines all the beauty that our travels around the world and memories have given us. A place that will be a balm for the soul, full of new beautiful experiences....
The white cottage consists of three levels – garage/sauna, ground floor, first floor. On the ground floor you will find an entrance hall connected to a fully equipped kitchenette, a bathroom with a spacious shower and a toilet. On the same floor there is a cozy living room with a fireplace, a spacious terrace leading to the garden with a fireplace and outdoor seating.
On the first floor you will find two bedrooms. The first has a double bed, the second has two single beds and a bed at the top of the roof, which is a full bed, but serves more as an extra bed.
The garage has a space for storing sports equipment for summer/winter sports. Right next to the garage is a separate entrance to the dry sauna - capacity 4 people.

Biela Chata is nestled in the forested nature of the Little Carpathians in the Piesok – Zochová chata cottage area above the historic town of Modra. It falls into the wine-growing and protected landscape area of the Little Carpathians, only 34 km from Bratislava.
The immediate surroundings of the cottage are ideal for relaxation, sports, tourism or cultural activities. In the town of Modra there are many great restaurants, wine bars and opportunities to visit cultural events. That is why the location of the White Cottage makes it a suitable resting place not only for forest people who are looking for an escape into nature, but also for visitors to wine routes and other cultural events in the area.
