Slovak folk majolica Blue
In Slovak folk majolica, masters of the craft have been developing inherited traditions for 138 years, creating the ceramic soul of the region with their hands and hearts. All products are handmade and painted. Each piece is a unique work. Modran majolica and majolica ornamentation are registered in the Representative List of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Slovakia. In Modra, majolica with traditional ornamentation is created, but in 2019 new, useful and design patterns were also added. A blue feather, a purple cob and a burgundy ticket are the first designs from the collection inspired by Heřman Landsfeld, the master of Modran majolica, and his samplers from the beginning of the last century. Agáta Petrakovičová Šikulová, curator of SNM - Museum of Slovak Ceramic Sculpture, collaborated on the collection. The Skratky design collection was created in cooperation with the Modran creative studio Design friendly - it moves the Modran majolica ornamentation into the 21st century and in short brings traditional Slovak beauty to modern users.

Excursion
(length 90 minutes, price 6 €)
The educational tour includes: an introduction at the foundation stone from 1973, a visit to the workshops with an expert explanation of pottery production and traditional ornaments with a demonstration of the work of master potters, a short documentary film, an exhibition of majolica and rare sample books.
Pottery painting - Easter eggs
(length 90 minutes, price 20 €)
Paint Easter eggs, which you can pick up in person after firing, but you will receive them by mail for a postage fee of 5 euros. You can please yourself with hand-painted decorations, or give them as a gift to your friends. The price includes ready-made white-glazed ceramic Easter eggs (1 piece of classic egg and 1 piece of flat egg, or a selection of ready-made ceramics).
