Come to Modra to taste award-winning wines as part of the 25th annual international exhibition Vitis Aurea Modra.
You can taste the wines from the competition, after evaluation by a professional jury consisting of oenologists, sommeliers and winemakers themselves under the supervision of Prof. Ing. Fedor Malík, DrSc., on Friday and Saturday, March 27 and 28, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., at the Secondary Wine and Fruit School in Modra.

Discounted ticket for 1 person – €15 (€18 on the day of the event until capacity is reached).
The ticket is valid for both days and includes:
– wine glass
– catalog of wines from the competition
– starter pack of 30 boxes that you exchange for wine samples
(note: boxes can be purchased on site)
There is also a great package for 2 people for €28. It is suitable for a couple where one of the partners drinks less wine.
It competes in the following categories:
I. Still white wines (residual sugar up to 4 g/l).
II. Still white wines (residual sugar from 4 – 45 g/l)
III. Still rosé wines (residual sugar up to 45 g/l)
IV. Still red wines (residual sugar up to 12 g/l)
V. Naturally sweet wines without any difference in color, including Tokaj wines (residual sugar over 45 g/l)
VI. Sparkling wines
