The Tublatanka group has long been one of the most successful groups in Slovakia and the Czech Republic. He has had a number of successful performances, e.g.; The Eurovision festival in Dublin, Ireland, in Austin, Texas, in Chicago, in New York, in London, the Sopot festival in Poland, etc. Thanks to this, she won many fans not only at home, but also abroad. The project for the 40th anniversary will be aimed at remembering the successful history, but also the current progress and not slowing down in activity, vitality, focusing on addressing not only peers-companions, but also the young generation with reference to Slovak music and culture, its past, present and at the same time the future.
The group was formed in 1982 and in 1983 played its first and very successful concert, in the following years it brought hits such as Pravda výzyáří, Zeravé znamenie destu, Love, keep me above the surface, Slabikár, Scőmí to česk universim, Friend, Dnes, Nekonecna piesen, Bez Your love, Song for Dodo, World in danger, New virus and many others. During its existence, Tublatanka released eleven consecutive albums and now comes with a new CD carrier!
The current, long-standing form of the band consisting of Maťo Ďurinda, Juraj Topor and Peter Schlosser is embarking on a tour of the Slovak Republic under the name "Good Friends Tour" on the occasion of the 40th anniversary.
