The Svätý Jur Hunting Association in cooperation with the town of Svätý Jur and the Svätý Jur Winegrowing Association invite you to Celebrations of St. Hubert near burčiak, hunting festivities associated with tasting of burčiak, which will take place on Saturday September 6, 2025 from 12:00 to 21:00.
THE PROGRAM:
- 12:00 – Meeting of participants and opening of the goulash cooking competition
- 1:30 PM – 2:30 PM – He plays the hunting note St. George's Brass Band
- 14:30 – 15:45 – Demonstrations of hunting dog species and training, training of predators
- 15:30 – Tasting of burčiak from a historic vehicle
- 16:00 – Opening of the “Festivals of St. Hubert” by Katarína Pálffy, Countess of Svätý Jur
- 16:10 – 16:30 – Keynote speech and welcoming of participants
- Saint Hubert's blessing to hunters and winegrowers
- Awarding of awards for the development of hunting in Slovakia
- Appreciation of the activities and results of the KMPPP group from the Podhradie Youth Center
- 16:30 – 17:15 – Public auction of hunted game, ticket drawing – raffle
- 17:15 – Tasting of burčiak from a historic vehicle
- 17:15 – 17:30 – Evaluation of the competition for the best “St. Hubert’s Goulash”
- 17:30 – 18:10 – Dance performance “In the Court of Katarína Pálffy”
- 18:15 – Tasting of burčiak from a historic vehicle
- 18:30 – 21:00 – Performance by a musical group Gamblers
