Grape harvest in Pezinok is one of the most anticipated events of the year and every September it attracts thousands of visitors to our city from all over Slovakia and abroad. In 2025, it will take place from September 19 to 21 and the whole city will once again be transformed into a great celebration of wine-growing traditions, music, dance and good cheer. The festivities will begin on Friday at 5:00 p.m. with the symbolic First Sip on the grandstand in front of the Pezinok Castle., where city officials, guests and winemakers will toast to a bountiful harvest. From this moment on, a weekend full of fun will begin on two large stages – on the Town Hall Square and in the Castle Park.
The musical program will offer a truly diverse range of performers. On Friday No Name's hits will be played, On Saturday, singer Dara Rolins will shine, Music from Mars, Vidiek, Sima Magušinová, Peter Bič Project, Cimbal Brothers, Martin Císar & band, Fuera Fondo and ADiss will also be there. Children will enjoy the popular Spievanka, while folklore enthusiasts will enjoy performances by folk groups and orchestras. The evening atmosphere will be completed by DJs and dance rhythms that will excite the entire square.
The biggest attraction of vintage is undoubtedly Historical allegorical procession, who will walk through the streets of Pezinok on Sunday at 11:00 a.m.. Allegorical floats, costumed groups, winemakers, craftsmen and folklore ensembles will demonstrate the beauty and diversity of the traditions of the Little Carpathians region. The procession will start from Mladoboleslavská Street and pass through the city center to the Town Hall Square. Throughout the weekend, the city will be alive with the harvest - the streets will be filled with the aroma of burčiak, wine and local specialties, and there will be more than 300 stalls with refreshments, handicrafts, attractions for children and carousels.
Accompanying program will add another dimension to the grape harvest: The Wine Fly's Journey as an interactive game for children, the ZPVV Wine Street with presentations by local winemakers, the Chill out zone on Farská Street, traditional grape pressing - Prešovačka in front of the Malocarpathian Museum, dance performances by the Phoenix Studio, a sports match between Pezinok football players, and an evening tour of the Capuchin Church and Monastery.
Exhibitions will also support the vintage – from the playful exhibition Time of Games in the Little Carpathian Museum, through paintings by Alena Polakovičová and Angelika Buzgovičová, to the naive art of Ondrej Šteberl and jewelry by Sona Ćateľ Kozáková. The City and Little Carpathian Museums will open permanent exhibitions on the history of Pezinok and winegrowing under the Little Carpathians.
The Pezinok 2025 Wine Harvest is more than just a wine festival - it is a unique event that combines traditional viticulture with modern music and culture. It is a place where generations, friends and guests from different corners of the world meet. The atmosphere of a hospitable city, music, a glass of wine and burčiak, folklore and contemporary concerts will guarantee an unforgettable weekend that will be remembered for a long time.
