The songs of Karel Svoboda and the legendary story from the walls of Karlštejn Castle will come to life again in Pezinok. The musical Noc na Karlštejne, full of famous hits such as Lásko má já stúňu, Asi do veži, Hoja, hoj and many other songs by Karel Svoboda, which literally became popular and are sung by all the audience, will be presented on September 16 in the House of Culture Pezinok.
One of the most famous and popular Czech musicals is a charming comedy about Emperor Charles IV. and his castle Karlštejn, where, according to the alleged ban, women were not allowed to reside.
The original comedy was written by Jaroslav Vrchlický. It premiered at the National Theater in 1884 and soon became very popular. Her fame grew even stronger after 1973, when Zdeněk Podskalský made a movie musical comedy of the same name, which is already part of the golden fund of Czech cinematography.
