We invite you to the Little Carpathian region during the Night of Museums and Galleries on Saturday, May 23, 2026. The institutions involved in the project traditionally share a single entrance fee (from €5/person, children under 12 free, unless otherwise specified), which you only need to pay at the first museum/gallery you visit.
Shaubmar's Mill, Pezinok
– one of the largest water mills in Central Europe with functional mill technology,
– during the guided tours you will look into the history of the mill, learn how its daily operations worked and hear stories from the life of the miller's family,
– for a moment, let's go back to the times when water powered mill wheels and the rhythm of life was determined by the seasons.
Guided tours of the permanent mill exhibition will take place every hour from 10:00 to 19:00.

SNM – Red Stone Museum, Častá
– evening program "About Water in the Castle," which will introduce visitors to the importance of water in the daily functioning of the historic residence from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.,
– the program will include a series of open lectures dedicated to various forms of water in relation to the castle – as utility, economic and decorative water,
– the lectures will present water as an integral part of life in the castle and point out its practical and symbolic significance in a historical context.
Visitors will also have a unique opportunity to see the upcoming exhibition in the castle's art gallery before its official opening.
SNM-Museum of Ľ. Štúr in Modra
