The cultural summer in Pezinok called Lážo plážo na plája continues in the month of August with a rich program for residents and visitors of the city. Various events are planned during August: a circus workshop with reading fairy tales, a musical and creative evening and the traditional Pezinský Permoník festival.
"Lážo plážo on the beach came about because the people of Pezin call the pedestrian zone on Radničná námestí a beach, and therefore Lážo plážo is supposed to evoke comfort - in a figurative sense, a relaxed summer", the dramaturg of the Pezinok Cultural Center Zuzana Hýllová clarifies the name of the summer program in Pezinok.
The circus workshop lives up to its name and the little ones will try basic circus tricks under the guidance of experienced instructors. Children will try how to spin a plate on a stick, juggle with balls or walk on a tightrope.
The accompanying event will be the reading of short stories with a circus theme. The fairy tales will be read by Radka Kukurugyová, a teacher of the literature and drama department at the Eugene Suchoň Elementary School in Pezinok.
In case of bad weather, the Circus Workshop will be moved to the Community Hall of the Culture House at 42 Holubyho Street.
