The Bratislava region will be immersed in the scent of apples and autumn flavors at the beginning of October. On Saturday, October 4, 2025, the traditional Apple Feast event will take place, which, under the baton of the Malokarpatský osvetový striden in Modra, connects gastronomy, art, traditions and community life. This year, as many as 18 towns and villages participated in the event.
The apple is a symbol of autumn and plays a major role at this event in every form - from crunchy apples directly from growers, to cakes, strudels, jams and cider, to original specialties prepared by local chefs and housewives.
Apple Feast is a celebration of the traditional fruit – apples, which is not only a tasty part of our gastronomy, but also an inspiration for creativity and art in various forms. Culinary delicacies are therefore complemented by craft markets, exhibitions, theaters, music, creative workshops, workshops, and art in all forms (ceramics, jewelry, digitalization in practice, 3D printing, exhibitions and much more). The event will also create space for cooperation, development and creativity of various communities, the disabled, minorities, artists, local growers, associations and all participants.
In each of the partner cities, guests will also enjoy an accompanying cultural and craft program that will delight the whole family.
18 cities and towns full of flavors and experiences
A record number of people will participate in the Apple Feast this year 18 cities and municipalities of the Bratislava Region: Modra, Pezinok, Grinava, Budmerice, Limbach, Svätý Jur, Viničné, Dunajská Lužná, Jablonové, Senec, Nová Dedinka, Slovenský Grob, Ivanka pri Dunaji, Rača, Petržalka, Rusovce, Čunovo and Devínska Nová Ves.
Each city prepares its own program that reflects its character and traditions. Visitors can create their own "apple itinerary" and experience multiple events in one day.

Limbach
Limbach is preparing a cheerful family program. The event will open at 2:00 PM with a children's performance, and at 3:00 PM, both young and old can look forward to a magical show. Peter Šesták associated with a balloon show. In the evening at 5:00 PM, a musical group will entertain SirFrom 2:30 PM to 6:00 PM, there will be creative workshops with tinkering art, competitions "Apple road" with prizes for children and there will be face painting.
Svätý Jur
Svätý Jur will offer a diverse combination of flavors and art in its center. At Apple market At the Infocenter – AINova, visitors will enjoy homemade cookies, a tasting of young wine, and an exhibition of watercolors. At 3:00 p.m., St. George's Brass Band, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, autumn creative workshops for children are prepared. The Renaissance house of Chococafe will not be missing "Digitized apple", children's workshops and apple treats from cakes to apple soup.
Budmerice
Budmerice will once again come alive with a fair atmosphere. Visitors are waiting for stands with apple specialties, homemade cakes and cider, complemented by a cultural program in the Budmerický dvůr. They will not be missing competitions for children, musical performances, apple quiz and craft demonstrations, which will give the event an authentic Little Carpathian atmosphere. The little ones will be delighted fairy tales read by the bee prince, creative workshops and theatrical performance "About the Lazy Fox" by Maťa Žák.
Blue – the heart of the Apple Feast
Right now Blue, where the idea of the Apple Feast was born, the program will be the richest. From 10:00 to 20:00 visitors can look forward to three thematic zones – Harvest Zone, Fun Zone and Feasting Zone.
The musical program at Kaštiel Modra will bring a diverse mix of styles: from the spirited Latin rhythms of the band La3no Cubano, via alternative rock Ychabods, to the award-winning jazz quartet František Báleš EnsembleThey will also be supplemented by Music by P. Šturlajter, folklore group Joy of Pezinok and other guests.
Visitors will enjoy Modranské apple and apple pie competition, traditional pressing of must, an exhibition of old apple varieties, a discussion about the biodiversity of orchards, hand-made markets, or a book exchange. The youngest visitors will enjoy reading a fairy tale Pumpkin Pastry Shop by Natália Kuľková combined with a poetry writing workshopChildren will also be entertained by beautiful theater performances, face painting, and creative workshops. A colorful gastro zone, an autumn photo wall, live animals, park games, and a wooden carousel will be prepared in the manor garden.
A joint celebration of autumn
Apple Feasting is not only a gastronomic event, but also a cultural and community experience that brings together entire generations. It is a day when entire families gather around the aroma of freshly baked pies, music, games and traditions that form the autumn identity of our region. The event creates a space for mutual encounters, discovering local flavors and supporting local growers and artists.
