Jimi Hendrix's brother - LEON HENDRIX - is coming to Pezinok. In Slovakia and the Czech Republic, Leon appeared for the first time in November 2022 and the audience immediately fell in love with him. With the project In the name of Jimi, accompanied by great musicians from Italy, he brought memories, emotions and a little "piece of Jimi" to all who love him. The late 80th birthday of this guitar legend is celebrated on stages in a truly magnificent way. Leon is accompanied by a fantastic band from Italy - Fulvio Feliçiano Band.
A unique opportunity to experience Jimi Hendrix's brother - just a few months after the legendary guitarist's 80th birthday. Due to great success, he comes to Slovakia again, with his tribute to his brother, his six years younger brother Leon.
Of course, the whole evening will be dedicated to the creation of the immortal Jimi, in a performance in which we have not had the chance to see them yet. Leon Morris Hendrix is an American painter, guitarist and composer who, in addition to currently working on his brother's legacy, also has his own albums with the Leon Hendrix Band. The first was released in 2002 under the name "Seattle Rain", then the more recent one with the title "Keeper Of The Flame" four years later.
In 2012, he embarks on his first extensive European tour, during which he performs in countries such as Great Britain, Italy, Poland, Macedonia, Kosovo and others.
Together with Leon Hendrix, an amazing guitarist is coming to Pezinok, who has been promoting Jimi's immortal guitar playing for many years - Fulvio Feliçiano. The rhythm section consists of bassist Marco D'Angelo (Leon Hendrix, Stan Skibby) and drummer Pino Liberti (Uli Jon Roth, Buddy Miles, Marco Mendoza).
