On Saturday, October 1, 2022, the 2nd annual Imagine mini-festival will take place in the Lyceum in Modransk. Do not miss the interesting program with accompanying exhibition.
Yoko Ono's poetics and her response to bitter experiences during the war in Japan inspired Lennon's song Imagine along with his desire for a more peaceful world. It was also our inspiration for naming the festival IMAGINE. Imagination as a basic pillar of creation and art. Its place and role in a person's life. Imagine what the world would be like without creativity and everything that is its result... We dedicate a large part of the second year of the IMAGINE festival to strong, creative and inspiring women. Starting with Yoko Ono through a discussion with Ilona Németh - a recognized and engaged visual artist and a concert by Dorota Nvotová, who is no less a civic activist than a musician or actress.
For gender balance, the line-up will be completed by Tomáš Sloboda with his vinyls and passion for The Beatles and Michal Kaščák in an interview with Ilona Németh about Yoko Ono, engagement in art and all sorts of other things.

Exhibition: "Every day of the war a new poster" - Mikola Kovalenko - graphic designer. Every morning he goes through the news and makes a new poster. He knows exactly what he wants to say. The accompanying event of the festival will be a selection of more than 200 posters that Mikola has created since the beginning of the war in Ukraine.
The entrance fee of €5 is paid on the spot.
