Join us in the footsteps of the Huncokars – Bavarian and Tyrolean woodcutters who came to the Little Carpathians in the mid-18th century. We cordially invite you to a traditional Hunting festivities, with which we annually commemorate the lives and fates of the largest group of "forest people" who settled here, in the Zochova chata - Piesok location.
A weekend summer event in the lap of the Little Carpathian nature – these are the traditional Huncokár festivities in the forest environment of Zochová chata. They start on Friday, July 18th at the Huncokár Guesthouse. On Saturday, July 20th, the main program is prepared on the meadow by the City Villa, along with an exhibition about the life of the Huncokárs - the original inhabitants of Piesko.
Lovers of history, hiking, or the local geopark will find their place, and there will also be activities for children.
The three-day festivities will conclude with Sunday's Holy Mass.

Also, don't miss out on Magdalene meeting of descendants and friends of the huncokars in the woodcutter's house on Saturday, July 19, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., in the HOLZHACKER HAUS, a woodcutter's estate, above the Piesko chapel. The music and word program will be accompanied by moderator Jožko Šimeček.
The Descendants of the Huncokars Association invites you to Magdalena meeting of descendants and friends of the huncokars.
