On behalf of Mr. Ľudovít Ružička, mayor of the municipality of Dubová, we cordially invite you to the event European Heritage Days 2025 – „"Windows to the past, doors to the future" ', which will take place on Friday and Saturday, September 19-20, 2025 at Dubová.
On Friday, we invite you to a benefit concert with an accompanying program and on Saturday, to a moderated tour of the sights of the village of Dubová.

Let's protect our cultural, historical and architectural heritage
The place: Church of Our Lady of the Rosary
- 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM Guided tour of the Church of Our Lady of the Rosary
- 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM Benefit concert featuring artists who will perform works by European authors.
Proceeds from the concert will be donated to the restoration of the artistic stained glass windows located in the Church of Our Lady of the Rosary. - 18:00 – 19:00 Holy Mass
- 19:00 Agape in the church garden

WINDOWS TO THE PAST, DOORS TO THE FUTURE
Moderated tour of the monuments of the municipality of Dubová
- 15:00 Meeting in front of the church and start of the tour
Route:- Church of Our Lady of the Rosary and church grounds
- Chapel of St. Wendelín
- Memorial area with the disappeared buildings of the original church of St. John the Baptist, the rectory and the church school
- Birthplace of Vincent Šikula
- Cemetery with the monument to Vincent Šikula
- The defunct church of St. James
- Historical tower – a monument of folk architecture
- Exhibition of architectural designs by students of STU Bratislava, UNESCO Department, dedicated to the revitalization of the village
- Interviews with former residents of the village and collectors
- 17:00 End of the tour, visit to Hostácká viecha, refreshments
On the Dubová walk you will also learn:
