The gradual revelation of the past is full of surprises and accompanied by a passion unexpected for gentlemen of a certain age. British playwright Lionel Goldstein's stage play Halpern and Johnson combines emotion with subtle humor in a poignant and often funny exploration of two different men's experiences with love for women. It is a story that makes us think about how we see our partners and how our loved ones see us.
