A classy restaurant where five people meet. Everything seems to be as it should be. At least it seems that way at first glance. Everything gets really messed up when Boris, who is driving his unbalanced lover Andrea, hits an elderly lady Yvonne while backing up in a parking lot. Nothing happens to her, so she invites them both to her birthday party. There would be nothing special about it, if it were not for the mother-in-law of the conservative Françoise - the best friend of Boris's wife. When this unpleasant situation begins to be saved by Eric, morbidly attached to a mildly deranged mother with a special sense of humor, the meeting of five people over a glass of champagne and sea urchins suddenly turns into an absurdly deranged evening, full of grotesque moments that only life itself can bring.
