Just a short distance from the center of Pezinok, above the Almond Orchard in the Škridláky area, a new attraction has grown up that has immediately won the hearts of visitors. The huge observation bench, which is 6 meters wide and more than 3 meters high, offers a unique view of the vineyard landscape and the entire city of Pezinok like in the palm of your hand. It is the largest bench not only in Pezinok, but in all of western Slovakia.
This unique project was officially opened by the mayor of the city, Roman Mács, together with the city management. "We wanted to enrich the experience of walks and cycling trips in our vineyards. From the bench you can see the whole of Pezinok and this place creates the perfect spot for memories, photos and moments of peace," said the mayor. In the future, the city plans to add other attractions to this area.
The author of the idea of the giant bench is Zuzana Kiczegová from the environmental department of the Pezinok Municipal Office, who believes that such unconventional elements attract tourists from all over Slovakia and abroad. "Many tourists are willing to travel long distances to see them, and therefore they are a suitable complement to tourism-oriented activities."," added the author. The Škridláky location was chosen precisely for its best panoramic view in the area. The bench is made of natural materials that blend in with the surroundings.
