The glass gallery installed directly at the Šimák Pezinok Castle represents a new, innovative location that art enthusiasts and visitors to glass galleries are not quite used to. The cool, mostly minimalist spaces of modern galleries have been replaced here by a luxurious space between thick castle walls. Dozens of breathtaking works of contemporary glass creation by its most prominent representatives await those interested. The gallery, unexpectedly located in spaces saturated with history, but gives the sovereign impression that it belongs there. Here, the history of our ancestors cleverly combines with the presence of modern art and culminates in a perfect symbiosis of experiences. Where else will you be surprised by Martin Janecký's almost alive Messerschmidt, or space-evoking optical glass objects by Ján Zoričák placed next to a 250-year-old silk tapestry capturing a vivid scene from Roman antiquity...
