Limbach, with its attractive location under the Little Carpathians and near Pezinok and Modra, invites you to include it on the route of your trips or bike tours. <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A favorite locality of the locals is the recreation area Slne\u010dn\u00e9 udolie with a water reservoir. It was in these places above the Limba\u0161sk\u00e9 lake in the Slne\u010dn\u00e9 udolie valley that sometime around 1343, royal miners searching for precious metals in the Korenn\u00fd vrch locality settled down. Later, loggers were called in - huncok\u00e1ri, coalmen cut wood and burned coal. Subsequently, a settlement named Limpach\/Limpoch was created between Ra\u010d\u00ed and Limba\u0161sk\u00e9 brooks. A new way of harvesting wood freed the sandy and stony hills for the work of winegrowers, and here somewhere the winegrowing history of Limbach begins to be written in capital letters. In 2001, Peter Wittgr\u00faber and Jirko Vit\u00e1lo\u0161 and other enthusiasts discovered the remains of the old Pezinok castle in the location of Slne\u010dn\u00e9 ud\u00f3lia. You can easily discover the cottage area by bicycle - it is located about 9 km outside the village, in the center of the protected landscape area of the Little Carpathians. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

But we invite you to another, very pleasant excursion route starting in Limbach. From the roundabout, take the green road to Ra\u010die Potok Valley. Ignore the detours, continue along the water course. At the end on the right, it turns into Medvedie ud\u00f3li, Ra\u010die Potok Valley is straight ahead. From there, continue for about a kilometer to the Limba\u0161sk\u00e1 vyviera\u010dka - estavelle. This natural monument with an occasional yield of 120 l\/s is a source of an underground flow springing from under Tureck\u00fd vrch. Here, take the green path towards Koz\u00ed chrb\u00e1t, where you will connect to the red ridge \u2013 the \u0160tef\u00e1nik highway. Along the way, you climb up to the Som\u00e1r hill with an altitude of 649 m above sea level and a nice view. Descending you will reach the nature reserve Nad \u0160enk\u00e1rkou. Not far from this small bog is the Three Stone Hills tourist intersection. You can also get here from Limbach by bicycle. The blue sign, passing the \u0160enk\u00e1rka kiln, will safely bring you back to Limbach - a pleasant wine-growing village. Clear map<\/a> will guide you. The reward for your performance will be refreshments at one of the local winemakers from the Association of Limb\u00e1s winegrowers and winemakers. Or for wine, good coffee, homemade lemonades and something good to eat, stop at Coffeeshop <\/a>\u2013 they will gladly advise you where to stay, how to get to the local beekeeper, where you can buy fresh fish, rent a bicycle or delight your soul with art.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can get to know the history of the village better during a visit to the local churches. The evangelical one from 1802, modified in classicist style, stands right in the center of the village. The Roman Catholic church, standing on a gentle hill on the western edge of the village, is dedicated to St. To Teobald, who is the patron saint of coal miners.   <\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
