Stura"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><em>Welcome to the only personal museum in Slovakia that deals with the personality of \u013dudov\u00edt \u0160t\u00far!\u00a0\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Children already learn about him in elementary school - \u013dudov\u00edt \u0160t\u00far significantly influenced the development of our history, awareness and individuality of the nation. That is also why his story deserves attention.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The \u013dudov\u00edt \u0160t\u00far Museum was established in 1965 in Modra - the city where \u0160t\u00far is buried. Here he lived the final stage of his fruitful life. \u013dudov\u00edt \u0160t\u00far came to Modra after the death of his older brother Karol, rector of the local grammar school and evangelical priest. After Karol&#039;s untimely death in 1851, he wanted to help his widowed sister-in-law Rosina with raising her children. However, he moved into her household only after an unfortunate hunting trip at the end of 1855, when he shot himself and was dependent on the help of others.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Today, the museum is located in the house that for generations belonged to the bourgeois family of the city judge J\u00e1n Emresz, Rosina&#039;s father. The last three weeks of the life of the national revivalist and revolutionary are commemorated in the \u013dudov\u00edt \u0160t\u00far Memorial Room, where \u013dudov\u00edt died at the age of 40 on January 12, 1856. The memorial room was created exactly on the centenary of this event and was restored in 2015.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The museum is persistently building its collection and study fund, and in addition to the personality of \u013dudov\u00edt \u0160t\u00far, it also focuses on the history, cultural and ethnographic traditions of Modra and the adjacent region. Since the largest group of visitors is made up of schoolchildren and the ambition is to attract as many tourists as possible, the exhibition is expanded with modern, interactive technologies.&nbsp;<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Children already learn about him in elementary school - \u013dudov\u00edt \u0160t\u00far significantly influenced the development of our history, awareness and individuality of the nation.
