City Museum in Pezinok

City Museum in Pezinok began its activities on March 1, 2003. Based on the defined mission, the activities of the museum naturally took shape in several main areas. Exhibitions are the most visible output presenting the partial results of the work, they bring the history and art of Pezinok and the people of Pezin closer together. Archival monument or archeological research, with its results and findings, furthers and deepens the knowledge of the past of the city of Pezinok. The city museum in Pezinok is located in the premises of the Renaissance town hall, which was built by the municipality after the elevation of Pezinok to a free royal city (1647).

Permanent exposure of the Municipal Museum in Pezinok under the name From Earth brings closer the history of Pezinok and its immediate surroundings through archaeological findings. They represent a wide period of time from prehistory to modern times. The permanent exhibition is installed in three exhibition rooms.
