Above Modra, among the vineyards ripening under the horizon of the summer sky, in the modern premises of Zoya Museum – Elesko Wine Park, a creative space is being created that has the ambition to awaken what has been dormant for a long time. It is Artists' Salon 2025, a multi-genre collective exhibition that will welcome the public from June 20 to September 14 – this time with a subtitle that is not just a topic, but an invitation: CONSCIOUSNESS.
Consciousness is not just a concept – it is a process. A process that begins somewhere in silence, between an idea and the first stroke of the brush, between an inner experience and an outer gesture. Consciousness awakens when the creator suddenly sees, And the viewer can awaken with him.
The exhibition will present 173 works by 96 artists from the Bratislava region – artists, professionals and amateurs, whose works were created at different moments in their lives: out of intuition, out of questions, out of joy, out of concern. It is these moments – sometimes subtle, sometimes dramatic – that create a map of our inner world.
For the 29th time, you will be able to walk among diverse genres – from painting to sculpture, photography to textile art – and perceive the subtle touches of emotion expressed in a line or curve, the desire for meaning in a composition, the dialogue between objects and installations. It is not just an exhibition of images and forms, but also a challenge to perceive the world more deeply, to slow down, to be present.
Every work is like a window – to somewhere outside, but especially inside. It often seems that we are looking at the painting – but in reality the painting may be looking at you. What it awakens in you is not a coincidence. It is an encounter with something of your own. Perhaps still dormant, unrecognized.
The 2025 Artists' Salon is therefore also an invitation to wakefulness. To a conscious look, to an inner conversation. To a return to what often escapes in the rush of everyday life: to an experience that transforms us.

A popular event that follows the Salon of artists is Day of open studios®. It will take place over the weekend October 18th – 19th, 2025, Saturday 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM and Sunday 1:00 PM – 7:00 PM. During this weekend, you can take a look into the studios and art workshops not only of the authors who exhibit at the Salon, but also of many others working in the Bratislava Self-Governing Region.
Open Studio Day® 2025 is organized in accordance with the project "Cultural and Creative Revival of Traditions" (Heritage SK-AT), which is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund under the Interreg VA Slovak Republic - Austria Cooperation Program.
